Commission for an ´interactive scroll´ featuring puppets and props, to be used for an Early Years educational storytelling workshop with children and their parents. The scroll is based on the Mesopotamian tree of life, representing the pillarstone of ancient Mediterranean mythology. The scroll was created in the form of an apron, and the interactive performance features various elements including three child characters, a lion, and props including a book, fruits and birds. This interactive piece was commissioned for Cariad Astles, Head of Puppetry at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. It was used for a workshop in China, in June 2017.
