Giant fire- and water dragon commissioned by the Oxford Storytelling Festival, Oxford, UK, in 2018.

This set of two dragon puppets were commissioned for the first ever Oxford Storytelling Festival The fire dragon is inspired by medieval ‘mummers’ folk traditions and the ‘hobby horse’, the water dragon consists of a large scale helmet/mask and costume, also inspired by English mummers folk traditions. The dragons performed in the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival. Materials: sculpted cardboard, hessian, bamboo, reclaimed textiles, acrylic paints.
