La Biblioteca Viviente ‘The Living Library’ is a performance which brings stories to life through pop-up book techniques, paper theatre and 2D animation. The piece dives into two archetypal fairytales – Vasilisa and Iron John – which offer different initiatory paths of the masculine and feminine. Through encounters with a series of magical symbols (the key, the forest, the witch, the horseman, the golden ball…) we come closer to the possibility of discovering our own power, and becoming the heroes of our own lives.
